The Rad-G is a handheld pulse oximetry device using Masimo SET technology. According to the instructions for the Rad-G Continuous version (Masimo LAB-10076A), it is used for non-invasive spot checks or continuous monitoring of functional oxygen saturation (SpO₂), pulse rate (PR), and perfusion index (Pi) in adults, children, and infants. The instructions also specify the plethysmography variability index (PVi) and the respiratory rate from the plethysmography curve (RRp).
According to the user manual, it has a lithium-ion battery with a 24-hour capacity; charging to 80 % takes approximately 8 hours at 25 °C. The device measures 7.4 × 19.8 × 2.5 cm, weighs 0.27 kg, and has an IP22 protection rating. Specifications may vary for other versions of the Rad-G.
